Metaphor Poem

My Brother

My Brother is a bowl of jelly
Moving everywhere he goes.

He  is a clown
Laughing at jokes that don’t make sense.

My Brother is a lava hound
Jumping as if he is flying.

He  is a barbarian king
Thinking he’s always the boss.

My Brother is a earthquake
Shaking the the world day and night.

He  is a cheetah
Running as fast as can be.

He  is a miner
Invisible  all the time.

If you meet him he will answer all questions.

  1. What an amazing set of metaphors. I love the fact that your descriptions are all so positive and complimentary. I especially like the metaphor about the miner being invisible all of the time. That made me think of miners being underground. Do you enjoy writing? I ask because you show a real talent for it.

I look forward to your next blog post.

  2. I like how you put he is as fast as a cheetah it helps me know that likes to run and next time maybe add more juciy words

  3. Wow Eze your poem was brilliant. I really enjoyed the types of metaphors you used to describe Jim (I think a few of them would describe both brothers though), especially the clown. Your brothers laugh at everything.
Can you do a metaphor poem for all the family?

I'll be looking forward to your next blog like the countdown to a Town Hall upgrade.
