How to create a comic book

In Kauri we have been learning to create a comic book. Then we had to make a slide,doc or drawing to show how we made a comic.  Here is mine hope you enjoy.

Kauri at fishing
On the 18th of october Kauri class went fishing with Peter from fish and game. We drove to the Grones to try and catch some fish and release the salmon we have been raising as eggs. When we were raising the salmon, the eggs hatched and after a couple of days we did not need to feed the salmon. The salmon also had this thing under there neck. Some days Peter would come and tell us the life cycle of a salmon and what they do in their life. Here are some photos of what we did at fishing.

Eze's Birthday

In Kauri Class we have been learning on recounts. Are focus was to use paragraphs, punctuations and improving after we wrote are recount. We also had a buddy conference to help us improve our writing. My recount is about going to Mega air for my 10th birthday.

Eze’s Birthday

On the first Sunday of the holidays most of my friends( Blake,Blake, Saxon, Isaac,Koby and Hunter) jumped into there cars and drove to mega air. We went there for the celebration of my 10th birthday party.

When we got to mega air I got all the presents from my friend. We then had to take of all are socks and shoes and watch the safety video. The video was boring because it was not fun seeing all the stuff you could not do like double bounces and you have to land on 2 feet.

Finally after the video was over we got to play. The first thing we did was dodgeball, it was exciting hiding under the top of the balls but we lost the game when the other team found out. We then just went bouncing around and found this thing called “The Pipe” it was a thing were the walls were bouncy but the floor was not. The last thing we did was the foam pit I jumped off the trampoline and cannon balled into the foam. I was a bit scared because I thought I would drown in the foam but I just swam to the other side of the foam pit.

Then after 1 hour the time at mega air was over. All my friends drove back to my house. We all had a nerf war when my Mum was getting the food for us. After the nerf war the food still was not ready so we all went to a graveyard next to templeton school and we were trying to find are name on a grave but nobody found their name on a grave. As soon as we came back there was food to eat.

About after an hour of playing we then took everybody home. When we dropped off my friends we gave them a piece of cake because we ate so much food that everybody was to full to eat a piece of cake.

As soon as we dropped off everyone I drove back to my house and I felt excited about going to mega air for the first time and a bit scared about turning 10 and my first year as a double digit.

Winter Fun day.

On September the 9th year 4 to 8 from Yaldhurst School got to go to Mt Mutt and did skiing. At first I was really scared that I might fall over but when I fell over it didn't hurt so I just carried on skiing.

Folk Dance

In Kauri we were learning Folk Dance and once we learned some famous songs we got to create a new folk dance and are group made a dance called "The Egyptian"we had lots of fun and we created a new move. Also are group was called Mess and here is are dance.
